Constructed of timber framing and cladding, the home was designed perfectly to meet the brief of the client. All spaces were designed for multiple uses and while not over-sized, each room was bright, well ventilated and inviting.

Consisting of four bedrooms, two bathrooms and open plan living. The home was orientated to make the best use of solar amenity. This allows the main spaces within the home to capture the winter sun for extra warmth while facilitating extra cross ventilation for natural cooling in summer.

The careful positioning of the home also allowed for a sun-drenched outdoor living space and a large backyard for kids to play or the potential for a pool down the track.

The external cladding combined with a classic gable feature and soft neutral colour palette gives the home an understated elegance. This style was then carried through internally with clean lines, high ceilings and bright colour and material palette to allow the home to exude a classic, nurturing, inviting feel.
