While the block of land was a difficult triangular sloping block, it had a lot of potential and we were able to design the extension to make the best use of the land available.

The existing home had all original fixtures and finishes and had seen better days. It was in desperate need of a much-needed renovation.

Fortunately, even though the house was small, the block was large and allowed plenty of space to extend the existing home out considerably to meet the needs of the client.

The existing dwelling was completely gutted, extended out and the floor plan reconfigured allowing the three bedroom, one bathroom home to transform into a spacious four bedroom, two bathroom home perfectly suited to a growing family.

The new kitchen consisted of beautiful stone benchtops, glass splashback, timber finish cabinetry and gorgeous ball pendant lights.

Both bathrooms were well appointed with textured floor to ceiling tiles, modern fixtures and an abundance of space.

Wood panelling was added to the bedroom walls to add extra character to the home and the renovation was finished off with a soft grey colour palette and hardwood flooring throughout the home.

The deck addition finished the home off perfectly. A sloping roof was added with a finished ceiling, inset downlights and decking lights that washed the area with soft blue light at night.

The home has now been transformed into a much more functional, livable and enjoyable home allowing the homeowners to stay within the neighbourhood they have grown to love.
